because his raps were offending people. The WWE said he could still rap, but coould not freestyle, and he'd have to write down what he wanted to say, but he did not feel like doing that, because he said he wanted to ';keep it real';. He still raps backstage though.

Because he gained a lot of popularity and kids started to watch so he had to change his gimmick to superman. This is coming from a Cena fan
